Doug Rasmussen (view 1) designed and built this red oak Dinning Room Table with two leafs (one shown). The top is oak veneer with quarter sawn oak edging. The top incorporates Ebony string inlay and manufactured inlay. The 45 degree legs are attached using hanger bolts through corner brackets making them detachable. It was finished with red mahogany water based dye, Zinsser Seal Coat, Crystal Lac Filler (top only) & Poly -Urethane. The top was rubbed out with Wizards Shine Master automotive finish rubbing compound.

  • Craig Ruegsegger designed and built this bookcase based on a Woodsmith design. He altered the width, changed the moldings at the top (all shop-made) and added doors. It's made from yellow birch, stained with GF Antique Cherry followed by three coats of a satin Cabot oil polyurethane varnish. He includes his daughter in photos of his projects so she'll remember how old she was when the project was completed.

  • Herb Rosen (item 2 view 3) built this jewelry box out of hard maple. It was finished with red oil based stain and aerosol Lacquer top coat. The interior is red felt with a mirror and lid chain. The front, sides and back have bass wood inlays. Their is a hand carved onlay on the lid. The knobs, feet and external strap hinges are brass.
  • Herb Rosen (item 3) made this pine wine rack. Front shelves have scallop grooves for bottle bottoms with labels. Rear shelves have holes for bottle necks. Shelves are secured to 4 ft supports with buttons covered screw holes. Top coated with Minwax aerosol stain-sealer. Holds 48 wine bottles.
  • Herb Rosen (item 4) built this Armoire by putting together top and bottom cabinets. It is made from Pine and Popular with hand made trim pieces. It is finished with red mahogany stain and top coated with lacquer spray.
